◊ W e a p o n r y:

- Tear avoids close combat as much as possible because it consumes a lot of energy; that’s why he has a pair of Katari. It looks like a short punching sword for swift and quick attacks. A really good weapon for ambush.

- In addition, his Katari is connected to a long chain protruding from his sleeves. He usually use this to flee enemies he couldn't beat.

- Cloa, his doll, is also a living creature. She can devour weakened opponents.


◊ A b i l i t i e s:

- Tear is completely dependent on “life energy” from the souls of living organisms. He needs to kill people to absorb that energy, due to the fact that he has no soul.

- Cloa serves as a storage for the “life energy” Tear collects. She can transform devoured souls into energy for later use.

- Due to the fact he is made of a special kind of porcelain called bone-china, (so called because the main ingredient is bones,) he has the advantage of strength. His punches can break bones, but he still avoids hand-to-hand combat.

- Partnered with super-human strength, he also possesses unnatural speed; yet he still wants to avoid chasing his prey because of the energy it will cost him.

- He is unable to feel pain or exhaustion. Tear just trembles and has trouble moving when the “life energy” he possesses grows low.


◊ Pe r s o n a l i t y :

Tear is the kind of guy one would probably think of as:

- Sympathetic

- Caring

- Cheerful

- Polite

- Elegant

- Gentle

- Charming

- Clever

- Handsome

Well, everyone would surely assume he is a complete gentleman…before they find out he is:

- A sadistic psycho doll who enjoys the sufferings of others:
Though you would never find this out before he kills you. He enjoys challenges, fights, and chaos more than anything else.

- Manipulative by nature: He likes the feeling of being in control.

- Merciless: He would never hesitate to kill or disembowel anything that has a soul.

- A LIAR: Tear always lies, believe me. Even though he may sound, look, or feel sincere; he is not. However, he may not give false information to people with power or authority. He wants to gain people's respect and trust for his personal use. This is with the exception of telling you his past.

- Reckless and Stubborn: If he wants something, he’ll make sure to get it. He can be very persuasive.

- A big fan of SARCASM

- A Self-centered individual

- When he bears grudges toward people, he certainly makes sure to get back at them.

- Tear loathes everything that possesses a soul.

- He also hates people who lie.

◊B i o g r a p h y :

Tear is a life-size doll made from Bone-China; a porcelain consisting of bone ash, feldspar, and kaolin. His creator used the bones of her lover to form the china. She also applied the same hair that was cut from her lover's dead body. These are the main reasons why Tear is alive.

As was previously stated, Tear is completely reliant on the “life energy” living organisms possess. This energy comes from their souls. He needs this energy to sustain his movements. _{Just imagine how much energy it would require to make porcelain move.}

There is nothing much known about Tear’s past, or so that's what he want to make people believe. He came from a rundown old Toy Store in a ghost town. He decided to leave the store because he was running out of energy and needed to search for alternative sources. _{Any other stories he tells about his past are lies!}

After following his own hunches and using his detective skills, he wandered into Miss Nol’s Store in his search for more “life energy” to support himself. The mages can give him the magic they use to bring normal dolls to life; however, it runs out more easily than the energy he usually gets from living souls.

Therefore, Tear decided to become a Body Snatcher; he can freely take the “life energy” from the souls of his victims and present their body parts to the store.

The only thing that he values besides himself is Cloa. He usually talks to the doll even though she has never said a word. Her main use is for the storage of “life energy.” After devouring an organism, she converts its soul for use. However, the victim should be greatly weakened first or she’ll be ripped apart. _{Imagine how flimsy cloth can be.}

- You will NEVER see him without a smile plastered on his face.

- Cloa’s mouth is stitched shut. However, she can purposely untie it before eating something.

- Tear doesn’t require things humans usually need to live; like air, food, water, sleep, etc.

- The left portion of his face is broken; that’s why, while fighting, you better aim for that part. _{He usually makes up stories about how it got broken.}

- His left knee and left shoulder were also broken, so the entire left side of his body is more fragile than the right.

- He can recover small amounts of energy while sitting or resting, so you may usually see him lying down.

- His eye is bright yellow, and he can completely see in the dark.

- Cloa's eyes are different shades of green.

- You'll always hear him saying "schmuck"

- Tear can also be very poetic, especially when he is alone talking to Cloa or before he attacks or confronts his prey.
